Deductions for Sliding Door Tracks

Most sliding glass doors come with tracks for sliding security screen doors. However, there are exceptions, particularly with wooden glass sliding doors. In these cases, tracking will need to be installed to accommodate a sliding security screen door.

At Seconline, when you purchase your security doors online, they come as standard with top and bottom rollers. We assume you already have top and bottom tracks as part of the existing door extrusion, and unless requested, we do not supply tracking.

Our security doors feature two adjustable rollers at the top and two at the bottom, each with internal adjustment screws, providing 12 mm of adjustment on each roller. We use a standard security door frame section that is 20 mm thick, similar to most sections used for sliding security screen doors.

For the installation of tracking in addition to the sliding screen door the following deductions are required:

Bottom Pip Track: When bottom pip tracks are required an additional -8mm deduction is required in addition to the standard -12mm sliding door deduction.

Top Sliding Track newTop Sliding Track new

Top Sliding Track: When top sliding tracks are required an additional -8mm deduction is required in addition to the standard -12mm sliding door deduction.

 Top H Track new Top H Track new

Top Sliding H Track: When top sliding H tracks are required an additional -18mm deduction is required in addition to the standard -12mm sliding door deduction.
